The recent global economic downturn seems to be developing along the lines of the story written by R H Politz in "Caryn's New World, The Valley" Will North Korea, Iran or some other country turn Politz's fiction into a prophesy? We certainly hope that the disaster described in this story does not materialize but... who can tell... who really knows?

One thing that will never change is Human Nature and this sometimes ugly set of attributes has been woven into a story line that speaks of grave consequences for the majority of people on this planet. Politz wrote the basic story several years ago when there was, so to speak, "a chicken in every pot" and recently published it as a Paperback and electronically on Amazon's Kindle.

Human nature is the root cause of many horrendous situations in our history and will surely rear its ugly head again in our future - but - there is also a delightfully entertaining side to this story as Caryn and her two daughters show some of the best characteristics of the human race. Persistence, hope, courage, commitment and empathy; these are the things many people exhibit when times are the worst
